If You Wish
Characters : Kizuka, Maki.
Summary : Still college AU. Kizuka giving a thought about what everyone seemed to keep questioning.
Kizuka hit the 'send' button shown on his phone screen before putting it on the canteen table. He tapped his fingers on the wooden table few times. Then he scanned his surrounding. It was another warm day at the campus' canteen, only a few couple of students could be seen, snacking or sketching something on a paper. End of semester was reaching, so it was no wonder. Most people were either stuck in class pouring their tears into their painting or fall asleep when they actually intended to only take a power nap.
It was during this kind of time where no one would bother to ask Kizuka if he's seen with Maki. 'Are you two dating?'
The two of them would always smile and casually answer, 'no.'
Kizuka failed to comprehend why a girl and a guy hanging out together would automatically considered be a romantic couple on a date. The concept of gender didn't appeal to Kizuka either.
Two people dating means they like each other, right?
Well, Kizuka liked Maki. But there are many types of 'like.'
Two people dating means they do 'couple stuffs', right?
Kizuka and Maki had done many things that other people referred as couple stuffs. The two of them had gone to the aquarium, zoo park, crêperie, game center, pancake shop, and many other places together. They would always hug when they meet. They had slept in the same bed when they lived outside the academy.
So, were they dating?
Kizuka's phone screen lit up. He picked it up, read what was on the screen and put it back again.
'Kizu-chan!'
Maki's energetic voice.
Kizuka lifted his head to see the girl waving, running towards him, her tiny pigtails bouncing.
'Let's go, or they will be running out of the special parfait, soon!'
'Yeah, I can't wait to try the biscuit topping!' Kizuka got up as he pocketed his phone.
Well, it doesn't matter, does it? Hanging out with Maki is fun and Kizuka thinks he'll be with with her for as long as she wishes to.
Perhaps if Maki would care to explain to the curious people, Kizuka should introduce himself as Maki's 'other twin.'
Double Annoyance
Characters : Kaoru, Kazeki, Mikage, Nagasaki.
Summary : Perhaps what would happen after they came back from Retsu's Knowledge Room.
'Hmm, I don't remember...' said Kaoru as he shook his head.
'Nothing? Nothing at all?' Kazeki's eyes widened.
'Yes--I can't recall any of this 'gigantic library' you're talking about... I'm sorry.'
Kazeki sighed in disappointment. He had hoped to dig any kind of information regarding the place they just visited. Something is definitely in there. Something worth getting sliced to pieces for. But of course, it wouldn't be easy. Even if Tailed Bastard was down, the little brother wouldn't be so careless.
'Why are you so curious about it?' Mikage asked.
'Yeah, I mean--it sounds hella boring.' Nagasaki showed his 'ew' face. The kind of face he makes whenever 'math test' is mentioned.
'Exactly, ew,' Mikage added.
Go away, idiots. Kazeki could feel his head twitching.
